Sayyed Abul Hamid Razavi stated,” Considering a large number of non-Iranian pilgrims in the Holy Shrine and the reasonable price of medical services in Iran compared to other countries, the majority of those who refer to Lady Masuma Clinic are non-Iranian pilgrims.”

Hawzah News Agency- the director of Health and Treatment Department at Lady Masuma (PBUH) Holy Shrine Sayyed Abdul Hamid Razavi pointed out the increase in visits of Iranian and foreign pilgrims to the clinic of Lady Masuma (PBUH) shrine since the beginning of this year and stated,” The clinic of Lady Masuma (PBUH) shrine provides more than 2,700 daily medical services to pilgrims and residents of the Holy Shrine.”

He continued,” Considering the large number of non-Iranian pilgrims in the Holy Shrine and the reasonable price of medical services in Iran compared to other countries, the majority of those who refer to Lady Masuma Clinic are non-Iranian pilgrims.”

Highlighting the medical services provided at the Holy Shrine to the pilgrims and nearby people, the director of Health and Treatment Department of the Holy Shrine added,” The clinic’s pharmacy section serves 1,500 people daily, the laboratory serves 50 people, radiology section serves more than 100 people, and the general physician visits more than 300 patients daily.”

He added,” Medical services such as Ultrasonography, radiography, emergency, midwifery clinic, ophthalmology clinic, heart clinic, speech therapy clinic and super specialty clinic are among the other departments of Lady Masuma (PBUH) clinic that receive many patients daily.”

Razavi continued to say that regarding the issue of hygiene, due to the increasing temperature and the increase in the number of pilgrims, courtyards and corridors are disinfected daily, and drinking water is regularly controlled at the holy shrine. Disinfection of toilets and ablution sites has also been intensified in recent weeks.”

Stating that there has been an increase of more than 60% in terms of treatments compared to last year, Mr. Razavi said,” This process of service provision is increasing and due to the holidays, it is expected that more Iranian and international pilgrims will use the medical services of the Holy Shrine.”
